Welcome to my blog!

My name is Merethe (pronounced Maretta)

I am Norwegian and have lived in Norway pretty much my whole life. When I was 16 I started at a Christian boarding school where I made a personal commitment to follow Jesus.

When I finished school at the age of 19 I spent six months at Capernwray Hall Bible School in Lancashire, England. That is where I heard about SWYM (www.swym.org.uk). 31st August 2011 I moved to Plymstock, Plymouth to do a foundation year in discipleship and youth ministry and I was placed in a church there. I had an amazing year and God did amazing things in my life. So I decided to continue being in SWYM and I have now started a bachelor in Theology and Mission with specialisation in Youth Ministry. As a part of my degree I am now placed in a church in Yate, outskirt of Bristol where I do youth work.
